GMC Acadia

How it looks on the street: A handsome three-row midsize SUV by GM’s lowkey GMC nameplate. The 2024 Acadia brings the model into its third generation and has seating for seven or eight in the Elevation trim configuration.

How it feels on the inside: Acadia has a swanky office vibe on the interior, and the tech embellishes on that sensation with a 15.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, head-up display, heated steering, a power outlet, and eight way seats.

How it drives: We drove the all-wheel drive model that earns 21 miles per gallon on average and has a 2.5-liter turbo engine. It handles its brawny size with confidence.

Space for people and things: A roomy third row delivers on space and cargo.

What to compare it to: It shares much in common with GM’s other SUV makers, the Chevrolet Traverse and the Buick Enclave. Other contenders include Kia Telluride and Toyota Grand Highlander.

How much does it cost: $65,410 that included Super Cruise and Denali Reserve Packages for a Bose stereo system, panoramic sunroof, automatic parking, enhanced mirror, and driver assist features. The base price for our model tested was $56,300.
