Lincoln Navigator, Reintroduced
How it looks when you see on the street: A bedazzled grille and a smattering of exterior lighting accents change the face of the newest Lincoln Navigator, introduced for the 2022 model year. It’s a use case that’s not suited for all, but for large families who have access to big parking places, its one of the swankiest options on the market.
How it makes you feel when you get in: As New Yorkers, the Central Park design theme etched on the surface resonates with us. The infotainment system is housed in a 13.2-inch system. As audiophiles we love the sonic experience of the 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D stereo, but the 14-speaker Revel base system is no slouch on sound quality.
How it drives: A big smooth rider that gains power quickly on long stretches of highway. It’s got a more efficient engine than past years, but has a long way to go to knock down fuel economy numbers from 23 miles per gallon on the highway. blind-spot monitoring, automated emergency braking, and pedestrian detection among other items.
Space for people and things: All the space one can imagine in a full size SUV and clever storage compartments abound. The space in the third row is first-class traveler level, and best in class. For ridiculous amount of space for cargo and people, there’s the long-wheelbase version.
Best Features: So many ways to sit in the Navigator with 30-way-adjustable massaging front seats,
How much does it cost: It starts at $81,405 and hovers around $105,00 with all the fun options.
